Ring video doorbell 3plus - new issue false motion every 15 minutes

Hi, I recently upgraded from the doorbell 2 with no issues to the 3plus, I now have a replacement 3 plus (first one wouldn’t show live view) All has been well for 2 days but now all of a sudden I’m getting a phantom motion alerts exactly every 15 minutes and no motion alerts when there are actually people or vehicles passing. Tried everything in the book from adjusting motion settings to hard resets and WiFi resets. Now awaiting on another exchange from ring. Other threads are mentioning firmware updates causing the issue. Anyone else experiencing the same kind of problem and possibly know of a fix?
