Ring video doorbell 2 image quality

Hi all! I just installed a wired brand new Ring Video Doorbell pro 2 and anticipated a very sharp and good image quality. Instead I have a gotten a quite blurred image quality. Anybody else experienced something like this? Hardware problem or software problem…..? Do not that my router/modem is brand new. So I do not think that this has anything to do with bad WLAN quality

Hi @ehoel. Would you mind sharing an example of what you're seeing as a blurred image from your Doorbell 2? You can share a screenshot or a video example. When attaching this video, you will need first gather the share link of the video. You can do this by going into the Event History in your Ring App and choosing to share it via email. From there, copy the link that is generated and paste the link in the body of your post. In addition, you can upload this video elsewhere, such as YouTube, and then share the link to the video in your reply. This will give us a better idea of what you're seeing.

I have a similar issue with my wired Doorbell 2. I have attached a copy of a screen capture illustrating my issue. Can you make suggestions on how to correct this? ![Screenshot_20231018_100312_Ring|497x500](upload://mhsKmR3mqDz7oxGFr8Ks6gfzmzz.jpeg)

Hi @rfreeland. It looks like you have water droplets on your doorbell. I suggest wiping them of with a soft cloth and a mild cleaner or RainX.

I have cleaned the outside lens of the camera and still I get these types of images. Is it possible something has gotten behind the outside lens cover and the actual lens?
