Ring Peephole live video

Hi all, I can't seem to get my ring peephole cam to show live video. I tested internet & router strength, all are within recommended speeds. I am unable to move my router closer to my front door because of the cable line but I live in a small 1300 sqft. house and the router is close to the front door, just not in the same room. How can I get my ring peep cam to show anything at all on my cell phone?
