Hello I'm wondering if there is any film or anything i can install on my storm door so my camera can detect motion better? It only works when people open the screen door and that isn't helpful. Any suggestions?

Hi @ichu. With how [motion detection](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042728431-Advanced-Motion-Detection-in-Ring-Devices) works in Ring devices, having glass such as a window or storm door directly in front of your Ring Doorbell or Camera will prevent it from accurately detecting motion. The main suggestion we can give here is to try thinking of an alternative placement for your Ring device so that the storm door isn't blocking its view and it can more properly detect motion.
