Ring Doorbell Wired- no inside mechanical chimes
Installed Ring Doorbell Wired was installed this morning and the mechanical chime does not work =( The chime worked fine before installation. The jumper cable was installed. Now, there is no chime inside. Any ideas other than the Ring Help "here's a wiring diagram" but no trouble shooting guides? Thanks in Advance for any help...

The Ring doorbell wired doesn't ring the old chime, you add the jumper cable in to bypass the chime and only supply power to the ring doorbell. It does say on the website Doorbell chime must be bypassed.

I upgraded my 16VA doorbell transformer to 30VA to get my mechanical chime to work again. You can get them at Home Depot or Amazon. My rear doorbell is also on this circuit. I do notice a 2-3 second delay between the Ring sound and the mechanical chime.
