Ring Doorbell Pro 2 with chime pro v2

Is anyone else seeing an issue with RSSI getting worse with Ring Doorbell pro 2 connected to chime pro worse than directly to home wifi? Example: Ring Doorbell Pro 2 (Hardwire edition) gets 41 RSSI connected to the home network, connect to chime pro goes to 66 RSSI. The first, that comes to mind, the chime pro is too far from my doorbell, however, had a Ring Doorbell Pro installed previously, and when connected to the chime pro got 37 RSSI. The only thing that changed was the doorbell hardware from V1 to V2. The first thing that comes to mind, is a hardware compatibility issue or firmware issue.
