Ring doorbell not working

My ring video doorbell wont work. I have pushed the side button and it started flashing then went to solid white light. Did a hard reset and same thing. It is hard wired in and we have a chime to help with wifi connection. Tried to also redo connection and nothing. Im at a lose on how to get it to work. Help
