Great question @nabraham! If you go to Ring.com, select "Products" at the top, then "Video Doorbells", you are able to click on each model and visit the "Tech Specs" on each Doorbell model's page. There will be a section called "Power and Connectivity" in the technical specifications which will list the requirements for each device. In short, our Video Doorbell 2 does feature 1080 HD video and so naturally requires a dependable wifi connection. For optimal performance, we recommend having 2 Mbps or more for wifi speed, at the mounting location. I hope this helps! :)
