Ring door bell camera not working

Hi I have just ordered the ring doorbell device and i have completed the setup wirelessly without connecting it to the door bell electrical wires The setup has been completed and whenever i ring the bell it sends a notification to the phone but when i open the camera it shows a black screen that has a message of “ activating device” which stays forever and the camera doesn't work basically.so what is the issue ?
