Ring battery doorbell won’t connect to sky max pod

Question

Hi, recently bought a ring battery doorbell and was having poor WiFi signal from the sky max router(house with thick walls) , so I installed a sky pod to extend the WiFi range but the doorbell won’t connect to it, have tried resetting the doorbell, router and pod several times but the bell still keeps connecting to the router with poor signal. Can anyone help please? Thanks

Hi @user_017a2f. Does this wifi extender have its own network name and password to connect to, or is it like a node on a mesh network? If this is a mesh network, you'll have to look into the network settings to see if there is an option to force certain devices to use certain nodes, as this isn't an option in the Ring app.
