PIN number for Ring Doorbell Gen3

Question

Hey there! Love my 3rd gen ring doorbell! Wait, false. Just letting everyone know that if you had to reset your wifi, you’ll need a 5 digit PIN THAT IS ONLY ON THE BOX OR MANUAL. Meaning if you dont’t have it, you’re screwed. The manual said NOTHING about keeping it or the box or writing down the PIN and keeping it in a safe location. Expecting a free gen 3 doorbell.

I have the same problem. No-one keeps the box or installation manual. RING should MENTION IN THE INSTRUCTIONS that the PIN number should be record. Shame on them.
