No footage between 1am and 6.30am

As per title, my ring doorbell doesn't capture any footage between about 1am and 6.30 am. My internet connection is stable overnight. There is good lighting at my front door. I've reset the thing, turned modes on and off and on again. People are outside my door and it doesn't register with the camera. It was fine when we first got it, but this error has been going on for months. Any advice or am I returning it and buying a different brand?
