Need new power kit for new Wired doorbell?

Upgrading from Ring Wired Doorbell Plus (Video Doorbell Pro) to Ring Wired Doorbell Pro (Video Doorbell Pro 2). (The current one from 2019 is still working fine in 2024, but I want the 150-degree vertical view instead of the 90-degree vertical view) Do I need to replace my existing doorbell "power kit" with the new power kit?

Hi @Natey. Yes, anytime you are upgrading a device that requires a Pro Power Kit, you'll need to install a new one. Good news, new devices come with the correct Pro Power Kit!
