My ring video doorbell - 2020 release won’t charge from wired

Hi guys, I just wanted to know if my connection was done properly by a registered electrician. I have a video doorbell 2020 release that’s wired without a chime through a greenbrook bell transformer that has an input of 230v 50/60hz and an output of 4-8-12v (1a). The problem I’m having is, the battery is slowly depleting and seems as if it’s not being fed sufficient power with the transformer that’s installed. Any experts on here please advise? Thank you.
