Motion settings not auto saved after power outage

My Ring Doorbell 3 Plus loses its saved motion settings after a power outage or when rebooting my router. Is there a way to make sure it saves its settings automatically when it re-connects to the internet? Or is there a timer built in when it loses its settings while not connected to the internet? Thanks.
