Motion detection won't work when connected to Chimes Pro

Got a chimes pro (2nd gen) to connect ring doorbell 2nd gen - as wifi reach to door is a little weak. Once the ring doorbell is connected to chimes pro Everything is set up on the app the same as before but motion detection wont work when doorbell is connected to chimes pro as a signal extender ...Live view and ringing the bell work fine. Had to put the doorbell back onto the wifi to get motion detection back . Anybody have any idea why? About to just send the chimes pro back - Thanks :)

Hi @Orangejam. It doesn't appear to be a signal issue since you can access the Live View. Try verifying that motion detection is toggled on, both on the device profile page and within the [Modes settings](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036107792-Control-All-of-Your-Ring-Devices-with-Modes). Once you've checked those settings, try triggering a test motion event. If the test event doesn't work, you can try rebooting your Video Doorbell in the Device Health page. Follow these steps [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/7438395032980-How-to-Reboot-your-Ring-Doorbell-or-Security-Camera-from-the-Ring-App-). The reboot may take a few minutes.
