@Jhw Thank you for that answer. The Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) can be hardwired to an existing doorbell system or transformer with XXXX VAC, 40VA max, 50/60Hz for a trickle charge. A typical doorbell circuit is comprised of the doorbell, a chime kit, and the transformer. I’d recommend locating the transformer for this circuit to verify that it will provide sufficient power to your Ring Doorbell.
