How to restart ... not re-setup... a v1 doorbell
Long story short, I want to restart the Ring doorbell but, if possible, I don't want to re-setup the doorbell. There's no need to. I just want to reboot it so I can make it reconnect to my wireless network. So far, all I can find online--including here--is the need to put it back in setup mode. Maybe that's the only option, but I would like to be sure. Thanks!

Hey @thecompu. That is definitely one of the ways! You can do a soft reboot of the Doorbell by pressing and holding the setup button for 20-30 seconds, and then after the reboot, you will need to re-set it up in the Ring app. This will be done in the Ring app \> Main Menu \> Devices \> Doorbell \> Device Health \> Reconnect to Wifi or Change Wifi Network. You can learn more about that in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034825092-What-to-Do-if-Your-Ring-Device-Goes-Offline). Hope this helps! :)
