Head to toe doorbell not snapping into bracket
New battery ring doorbell. “Head to toe” 2024 model with orange removal tool Removed to charge for first time and came off no problem. Now it will not snap into bottom of base. Very cold out so not over pushing it in fear of plastic tab breaking. No help in web.

I have the exact same issue. Did you find the solution? This is the second Ring Doorbell I purchased. The first stopped working after a couple years. Now this one has battery problems, and now this. I'm getting fed up with RING. WHY DON'T THE MODERATORS ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS? ???????

CHi, we have responded to this question. The Doorbell should snap into place just like it did when you initially installed it. If needed, you can reference the installation instructions here https://ring.com/support/articles/9s4tp/installing-battery-doorbell. There are a few visual diagrams showing how to snap the Doorbell onto the mount.

Hi @user_43a98d. The Doorbell should snap back into place, the same as when you initially installed it. It's possible the cold weather is making it feel more resistant. You can also reference the installation instructions here if that helps.
