Hi I've finally got my ring video door bell 1 hardwired it's showing hardwired in my app but battery is dropping in percentage only very slow does hardwired not charge the battery in the original ring video door bells thanks
Hey @Hatchy. When you hardwire the Doorbell, it can get up to a 10% trickle charge a day to help keep your battery charged. Although, if you're having an excess amount of times the Doorbell is being triggered to record (more than 10 events a day), this could be why you don't see it staying at 100%. Even when hardwiring the Doorbell, you may have to charge it occasionally, but the hardwiring will help reduce the time in between charging! :)
