Fitting Ring 3 Doorbell to a UPVC door frame

I’ve recently bought a ring door bell and am looking fix it to the outside of the porch (which is upvc). I was thinking of either sticking it or screwing it to the frame with self tapping screws. I was going to run this off battery power, but may hard wire it at a later date depending on battery life. Either way I want to make it as less nickable as possible e.g. not with Velcro. Any suggestions
