Hi @Escape. The original owners simply need to remove the Ring device from their account. You can share [this Help Center article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038010351-How-to-Take-Over-or-Change-Ownership-of-a-Ring-Device) with them, which contains information on how device ownership works, as well as instructions on how to remove a device. Once the device is removed from their account, you can complete the in-app setup process under your Ring account. I hope this helps!
