Doorbell 2 mechanical doorbell low sound

Question

I just installed my ring doorbell 2 and I have it hardwired from my old regular mechanical doorbell. When I press the button my internal mechanical doorbell you can barely hear it. How can I fix this? Barely able to hear the doorbell makes it pointless.

Hi @Fusionstormlord. It sounds like your Chime Kit and doorbell may not be getting the correct amount of power. What is the voltage rating for your transformer? Also, make sure you have the correct chime kit selection in the Ring app. This can be found under the General Settings menu, nested in the Device Settings menu.
