Choppy audio when talking starts.

Is there any way to fix this issue? I just got the new ring doorbell for my mother with dementia. It makes it really easy for her to contact me and for me to keep track of her. The issue is that as soon as she talks the audio becomes completely choppy and I can’t hear her at all. The audio is fine before she talks.. I can hear everything going on, background noise, TV etc. but as soon as she talks. Inaudible. We are both on good internet. Her internet is not used by anything else except Ring. Not sure what to do and it is defeating the purpose of buying this thing Thank you for any help. Much appreciated.

Hi @KingAdamus. I'd suggest trying to reset the Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. Once that's done, the Doorbell will need to be set back up in the Ring App again by following the steps under Set Up a Device. This typically clears up any performance issues, such as poor audio quality. If this concern persists, would you mind sharing a video example of the poor audio quality? When attaching this video, you will need to compress the MP4 file into a ZIP file, as ZIP files can be attached to your reply and not MP4s. In addition, you can upload this video elsewhere, such as YouTube, and then share the link to the video in your reply. Alternatively, if the video is saved in the Event History in your Ring App, you can choose to share it via email and copy the link that is generated. I'd be happy to take a look and see what other solutions I can suggest! :)
