After installing Ring Pro2, the chime dings then freezes for a few seconds making weird noise then releases and completes the cycle. I tried everything i know to fix it, I have the Ring chime which works fine, can i disable the old chime and just use Ring chime? Also, do i have to plug the Ring power kit to the old chime? The only thing I did not try is to not plug it, but I'm worried if it's necessary and the bell may fry or something if i didn't use the power kit! Thanks in advance.

Hi @Walied. You certainly need to have the Pro Power Kit installed. This helps regulate the amount of voltage going to your Ring Pro 2. Additionally, in the Ring app, you need to make sure you have either digital or mechanical chime kit selected. This can be found within the Device Settings > General Settings menu.
