can direct sunlight decrease motion sensitivity in ring 2

Question

My ring 2 was working fine, but seems to have become less sensitive to motion. Can direct sunlight do this? If so, how can I fix it? Live view image seems normal.

Good question @Kaptain! Our outdoor camera enabled devices are rated for weather resistance. In normal conditions your device should fucntion as expected. Keep in mind that your Video Doorbell 2 uses PIR or heat signatures to detect motion, and constant sunlight could certainly alter the temperatures of the area in view , depending on environment.
