APP ON SAMSUNG S10e
For some reason when I get a notification from the Ring DB, I cannot immediately view the video feed to see who is at the door. But on my wife's apple devices she can see the video immediately. I found a post on here before that said to uninstall/reinstall but I can't find the post again. That didn't work though and still have the same problem. I also had trouble setting up the device initially from my S10e so I had to use a rotten apple to get it set up. Any other suggestions?

Hello, When I get a notification it shows in the app but I can't click on it to view the event...it's like it's frozen! It takes a minute or two before I can see the event. I also had trouble setting up the device initially on my Galaxy S10e and had to resort to using my wife's Apple (yuck!). I've downloaded the Rapid Ring but haven't figured out how to use it yet. Anyway, still have the problem with the normal app. Thanks, Mike

C@micselafey Thanks for the clarification. If the Live View and the Ring App work normally on your wife's phone, then these concerns may be isolated to your phone. Try completely uninstalling the Ring App, restarting your phone to clear the cache, and reinstalling the Ring App. As for the Rapid Ring App, you'll just need to sign in with the same email address and password as you used for the Ring App and you can access the Live View and receive notifications when someone is at your door.

MThanks for trying those steps, @micselafey! If the Rapid Ring app did not improve live event connection time, there are a few mobile device variables worth checking. Please ensure there is not a vpn enabled on your mobile device, as well as any other connection features that might impact mobile device processing abilities, such as hotspot or bluetooth. Closing all other apps running in the background can also optimize connection. As you are using android, please also check for any [android apps that might conflict with the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005889983-Android-Apps-that-Conflict-with-the-Ring-App). I hope this helps! :)

Hi @micselafey. Can you clarify what you mean when you say you cannot view the Live View in the Ring App? When you receive a notification that someone is at your door, you should be able tap on the notification to activate the Live View in the Ring App. If this is slow to load, you may want to ensure you have a strong wifi or data connection on your phone. You can also give the [Rapid Ring App](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360028023571-Rapid-Ring-App-Information) a try, as it is designed to allow you to answer notifications and access the Live View more quickly. I hope that helps! :)
