Anybody not using safety screw?
Will it fall off without using the screw? I want to keep motion frequent to May run battery down more. I have two batteries now but it’s a bit fiddly to take the screw off should I keep it off or would wind blow it down or make it easier to steal?

Hi @Phil19881. The security screw on your Ring Device is there to protect against theft and to keep the Faceplate locked in. Without the security screw, it is possible that a strong gust of wind could cause the Faceplate to come off. I hope this information helps!
