Activity is detected outside of the zones
I have created zones that cover the patio area and when a car drives down the street, which is not in the zone... it says motion at the door. I have some screenshots but I don't seem to be able to attach them What's the trick?

Hi @JackConw. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Based on what I see, there are a few recommendations that I can make. First, it may benefit you to create a few, smaller [motion zones](https://community.ring.com/t/feature-update-customizable-motion-zones-for-battery-devices/13965) instead of having one larger zone. Next, you might also benefit by adding a [Wedge Kit](https://ring.com/collections/accessories?filters=category:video-doorbell-wired,category:video-doorbell-pro,category:video-doorbell-pro-2,category:video-doorbell-elite,category:video-doorbell,category:video-doorbell-2,category:video-doorbell-3,category:video-doorbell-3-plus,category:peephole-cam,type:installation-mounts) to your doorbell to angle the [optimal motion detection zone](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002548086-Proper-Positioning-for-your-Ring-Video-Doorbell#:~:text=In%20fact%2C%20as%20illustrated%20above,48%20inches%20above%20the%20ground.&text=The%20motion%20sensors%20in%20your,feet%20outward%20from%20the%20fixture.) to be more in the region you are trying to capture. With these adjustments, you should see a great improvement in your Ring Doorbells motion detection. :slightly_smiling_face:
