2nd Gen doorbell compatibility with battery?

Bought the 2nd gen bell yesterday but can’t see anywhere for the removable chargeable battery pack to go? The whole front casing of the bell is screwed on. Is the battery pack compatible or am I missing something here? I assume it’s supposed to go into the bell right??

Good question, @Rachedwards! This can certainly depend on the Video Doorbell model. While battery-powered devices like the Video Doorbell 3 might use a quick release battery pack, others might have a built in battery. This is true for the [Video Doorbell (2020 Release)](https://ring.com/products/video-doorbell-v2) which does feature a built in rechargeable battery, that cannot be removed. I hope this helps! :)
