Use Echo device instead of built-in microphone and speaker

I have 5 Ring cameras now - just installed an indoor stick-up camera. Bought it to keep an eye on our dog. We would like to be able to speak to the pooch, but that built-in speaker is not very good. We have an Echo in the same room. Sure would be nice to use it as the camera's speaker and microphone. Can that be done?
