Stolen stick-up camera - reported, no response

My stickup camera was stolen on 7/13. I captured a video of the theft, but the thief grabbed it from behind, so there's no identifying info. I filed a police report, and got a copy of the report on 7/16. On 7/16, I reported the theft to Ring, with a description and uploaded police report. So far I've heard no response from Ring; when should I expect a response?

    Hi @ringgit. I'm sorry to hear that your Stick Up Camera was stolen, but it's good that you filed the police report soon after. Make sure you've followed the steps in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003475783-What-to-do-After-the-Theft-of-Your-Ring-Device) to ensure it's been properly reported within 15 days of the theft. The police report will have to be verified before a replacement is sent and that can take up to 14 business days.       Thanks for the reply. I certainly followed the steps to report the theft, but I was expecting some kind of immediate response, if just an automated email. I guess I'm worried that my theft report didn't arrive (for some reason, computers, you know), and Ring will decline the replacement because I didn't seem to follow the correct procedure.

I would urge you to contact our support team if you wanted to double-check on this or if you have any other follow-up questions, as they'll be the ones who can actually pull up your account and see what information they can tell you on this report.
