Spotlight Cam Motion Light Control

Seems like the motion activated lights on the Ring Spotlight Cam Pro Wired was an afterthought. The control is very limited and not even up to par with most common outdoor light fixtures. There mere fact that you can’t adjust the duration of time in which the lights stay on once triggered is silly. In addition… the motion detection does not follow the in depth control that you have over the camera. As a matter of fact, I can’t see any real worthy control over the sensitivity of the motion trigger for the light at all! I have to walk within 15 feet of it to get it to come on, but a car passing out on the street sets it off. Really? The camera and the in depth control over it is very impressive… the motion light is not. I just leave it turned off. Hopefully this can be resolved in a firmware update. Until then… I find it somewhat useless (especially if you replace an existing light fixture with this).
