Spotlight cam has black screen

I've tried everything. Had the cable company come out to check my connection, moved my router right next to the spotlight cam, uninstalled & reinstalled the app, did a hard reset on the cam. Nothing! I can hear sound, but there's absolutely no picture. This is a expensive piece of equipment to never work. Solutions???

    I would get ring to replace it. Sounds faulty.

      Hi @skatejazz2. Having your internet service provider check the connection and moving the router were both good troubleshooting steps to take. One other thing I'd suggest is checking that the [ports and protocols used by Ring devices](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/205385394-Protocols-and-Ports-Used-by-Ring-Devices) are open on your router. Your concern may need to be escalated for more advanced troubleshooting.
