If you only want to switch on the spotlight on the 'Spotlight Cam' (battery model) to light up an area for a period of time, can this be done in the app? or will the light only work with motion detection? thanks.

Hi @Chose. Yes, you can manually toggle the lights on in the Ring app by tapping the menu in the top left > Devices > Spotlight Cam > and tapping the Lights toggle. I'll include a picture below of what you're looking for.  Additionally, you have the option of using a Light Schedule to set a time when you'd like the light to be on or off. This is found under Device Settings > Light Settings > Light Schedules.
