Solar panel installation to Spotlight Cam Battery

Have just returned solar panel because I could not insert the barrel plug into the receptacle at the back of the cam. Two calls with support did not help. Then discovered at the back of the cam below the mounting knob there is a button to slide open the little panel, revealing a second and larger receptacle. Wish I still had the panel to try again. However, Support was polite but not effective Comments or feedback please
