Selecting Cam to meet association requirements

I have a few questions, I am deciding on either the Floodlight or Spotlight cams 1. Is the Floodlight cam paintable? 2. Looks like the Spotlight cam has an electric cord. I would be replacing an existing fixture so would like to just use the existing wiring and mount the Spotlight cam in place of the existing fixture, so would not need a long cord. Would I be able to either remove the cord or cut the cord to attach to the existing wiring, without invalidating the warranty?
