Security light wont turn off?

The light on my ring security camera won't turn off .. I press turn off on the app and it immediately turns back on .. this in turn attracts moths and other sorts of flys towards the light which sets of the chime. Iv tried playing with the settings but no luck. Any help appreciated

Hi @Playodb. The lights on your Floodlight Cam or Spotlight Cam should not remain on all the time. Check the area around the Camera for any potential motion triggers such as reflective surfaces or sources of heat. Next, try reviewing and adjusting the [light settings](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004155866-Controlling-Floodlights-and-Light-Settings-on-Your-Floodlight-Cam). If you've already checked the settings and the area for any motion detection triggers, but this concern still persists, it would be best to follow up with our support team to investigate this further.
