Ring Stick Up Cam Wired POE problem

Recently purchased a refurbished Stick Cam Camera 2nd Generation to see how well the POE options work. First of all, no problems on wifi. Network: Cable Modem (bridged)-----EERO Gateway------8 port Hub------5 port TP-Link POE switch (gb)------ Ring Camera I have tried a POE Injector (802.3af compliant) and it powered up and seemed to work fine. However, I could not find it when it checked EERO for connected devices. Thought it must be something to do with the POE Injector so I ordered a decent POE switch. It set up fine, motion alerts work, but can't find an IP address anywhere. Even tried an IPscanner and it does not show up there or in EERO. But it seems to work. Am I missing something?
