Ring Spotlight Cam Plus wire not working

I have had my Ring Spotlight Cam Plus installed outside above my garage for 5 months and it stopped working. After calling Ring to troubleshoot it was determined that the power cord was faulty as the unit works when I plugged my second camera cord into it. I was told I would get an email from Ring once this was reviewed by their Tech team. Day two and no email and no replacement cord. After reading several posts of others with the same issues I’m starting to have second thoughts.
