Question about the pan tilt camera

I have a pan tilt camera in my back yard. I will go into live view and move the camera angle where I want it and for whatever reason any time I am in ANY of my ring cams on live view it disconnects after about a minute, but then after each disconnect the camera view has reset back to where it was before. Why won't it stay where I put it? Is there a way to prevent that? Seems it should stay aimed where I want it and I shouldn't have to redo it every single time it decides to kick me out of live view, which is already annoying enough.  There are so many things that are aggravating about the ring products and app. I wish I never would have bought them.
