Privacy Law in California

Can someone provide me with CA laws (codes or regulations) stating that the neighbor's property, like a walkway, front yard, or driveway, is considered a public area? My camera points to my property, but the background covers some of my neighbor's walkways, front yards, and the public street. The neighbor's area could be seen from the public street. He is arguing that I am infringing on his privacy and wants me to point my camera towards my home. I do not agree. Please help me to provide me with the law to cover myself. Thanks

Hi @user33418. I would strongly recommend consulting your local law enforcement agency to confirm the rules and regulations surrounding home security devices in your area. That way you can ensure you have the most accurate and up-to-date information.
