Not getting notifications and camera not picking up movement
As of a week or 2 ago my app is not always sending me notifications of movement even though all the settings are on. I also connected another camera last week and updates my plan and this camera tends to not always pick up movements and send me notifications (yesterday a Car was in my driveway and at 2 different times it didn't pick up/send notifications) I also went out once and waved in front of the camera and did didn't pick up. Im having to go into the app and turn the notifications off and on for it to work again. I'm not sure why this is happening. Everything is on properly, wifi is fine, I have the proper subscription.

I'm usually on wifi, sometimes motion is recorded, sometimes motion is not recorded. I'm on a S23 Ultra, ring version 3.83.2 (most recent)

Hi @user_ad1692. You mention that sometimes motion is recorded, and sometimes it's not. If motion is detected, but a notification isn't sent, this would be a notification issue. If the motion isn't being detected, then it's a motion detection issue. It sounds like it might be a combination in this case, but I would recommend always checking the Event History log to verify. Motion detection problems are best resolved by adjusting the Motion Zones and Motion Sensitivity. Make sure your Motion Zones are drawn to cover all areas you want to be notified about motion in. With a Ring Home plan, you may also have access to Smart Alerts on select devices, depending on which device you have. Make sure the Ring app has permission to send notifications in your phone's settings, and ensure the Motion Alerts toggle is on. If your phone has a silent or do not disturb mode, keep in mind these will suppress notifications from the Ring app. We have more troubleshooting steps for notifications here https://ring.com/support/articles/vll73/troubleshooting-notifications-from-ring.

Hi @user_ad1692. What type of phone do you have and what version of the Ring app is downloaded? Are you on cellular data or wifi when this happens? When there are no notifications, is the device recording motion?
