Motion detection

It seems with every fix there is something else that stops working. I think ring needs new programmers. First the motion was only detecting someone two feet in front of it and did not pickup cats. Now detection is further out and it detects my cats walking by. Very annoying keeps alerting. When are they going to fix this so it stops detecting cats? Anther problem was the zoom. First it worked and then it stopped. We all complained and now it works again. What is going on???
