Question

Had a trespasser seen on ring spotcam, but only his leaving and not his arriving. How could he fool the motion camera to come onto my porch?

Hi @user44387. It's difficult to say why this happened. It's possible the person approached your patio from an area out of view, or out of a Motion Zone. Try adjusting your [Motion Zones](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050360052-Customizing-Motion-Zones-for-Video-Doorbells-and-Security-Cameras) for optimal motion detection.
