Indoor Cam alerts, modes, & more

I have a ring doorbell 2, a few sensors, and this indoor cam. The indoor cam is driving me batty. Mode Settings = "Home" Indoor Cam Motion Detection = on Live View = on Motion Settings Motion Schedule "every day selected, time is 05:30-23:30" Indoor Cam 3 dots/settings Record Motion=off Motion Alerts=off Who overrides whom? I walked out this morning at 5:25 and it alarmed (Alexa complaining about motion detecting) which is what I want but I walked in front of it to test it at 5:40 and I got the alarm again. I've been playing with all of these settings and simply can't figure out which way this is supposed to be setup. Essentially what I want is: in **home** mode, no alarm, no alerts. in **away** mode, full alarm, full alerts. in **disarmed** mode, no alarm, no alerts. I'd like for the ability to turn any of these on or off but for now, I'd accept one of the above if possible. thoughts?
