Floodlight Infrared Lights

Is it normal for the floodlight cameras to have the infrared lights (red lights near camera) to remain on at all times during night? Or should they only be activated and on when motion occurs?

Hi @user16515. The infrared lights will be on when the Floodlight Cam detects motion or you have activated Live View and it is dark enough for them to come on. If you're using the [Snapshot Capture](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034355652-Timeline-Security-Snapshots-Using-Snapshot-Capture) feature, this will also utilize the infrared lights so the Snapshots taken when it's dark are clear.
