Title speaks for itself, but my two floodlights are filled with water. Turned on the lights for a bit, but water didn't go away (got dirtier). Camera and device working well otherwise. Is there any way to remove the water from the lights? Is there an issue with the device still being on with the water in the lights?

Hey @ringuser21. Could you take the camera down and bring it inside for awhile to see if this helps the water evaporate? If not please follow up with our support team to see what other options are available. You can reach out at one of the numbers available here.

I appear to have the same problem. My Flood Camera is locate a foot behind the edge of an outside ceiling. Both LED lights are equally flled with water. I wondered why my flood light were no longer coming on during the night when motions is detected. I will contact Ring ASAP.

I have the exact same problem. It appears that the foam seal was not uniformly tight around the perimeter of the floodlight housing and the junction box. It also appears that water leaked down into the floodlight housing and ran down into the light fixture (following the path of the wires). Ring is sending me a replacement and I will add a little silicone caulk inside the fixture and will also run a bead around the foam so it creates a waterproof seal when I reinstall my fixture. I hope this helps ! Apparently this is a widespread problem that RING needs to address.

Is this still an issue with Ring Floodlight? I am now on my second floodlight that has went out in less than 4 months. On the second one I even built a little shelter above it to keep rain off of it. I live in southern and am wondering if it’s just too humid here?

My replacement light is coming and I swear I might drill a tiny hole for drainage in each lamp housing

I wanted to know if you drill the hole in your floodlight camera and did that work for the water?

What did you use to drill holes and did it work?
