Floodlight Cam Pro installation with no silicone caulk

Question

Does anybody know why the Ring install directions for the Floodlight Cam Pro (2023 model) doesn't require silicone caulk?

You can find the installation instructions for the Floodlight Cam Wired Pro [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360059068632-Installing-Your-Ring-Floodlight-Cam-Wired-Pro-). Everything needed for installation should be included in the original packaging. If you wish to use anything additional to further secure the installation, you can do so at your own discretion.
