Can Ring provide a straight answer as to what functions are turned off during Cool Down Mode. I have one of my Floodlight Cam Wired Pro which goes into this mode on and off. Not weather related (it’s on a North facing wall in England). Technical support did a job at fobbing me off and effectively told me to ignore it. I get the impression Ring doesn’t know how their own products work. Simple question surely for Ring but no mention of it in documents and they seem to want to see screenshots (happily provided, but worrying that it appears an unfamiliar mode for them). Has anyone got any experience with this?

I have the same issue it has done it since the day it was professionally installed. I do live in Florida so it is very hot here but it is constantly in this state like right now at 4:51 am it’s in cool down mode. I got the camera for a reason and 85% of the time it’s in cool down mode not recording. This wasn’t a cheap purchase not to mention the install costs. ![image|230x500](upload://jzgHG5i2yzpANDH5F74AWotFVQS.jpeg)

Hi @Amydionne. I'd like to get some more information about this. What would you say is the average temperature outside where the Floodlight Cam is located? On average, how many recordings/Motion Events does this Floodlight Cam have per day? Can you share a screenshot of how you have your Motion Settings configured? Lastly, in the Device Health menu, is the firmware up to date? Once I have this information, I can share it with the appropriate team and try to dive a little deeper into this for you. Thanks, neighbor!
